The houses whose surroundings needed to be landscaped are former 19th-century fruit stores, located in the park of a large château in Normandy.
The project primarily aimed to clear the fruit stores, one facade of which was more than half buried in the ground (to improve thermal inertia), and to create a new space in front of their cleared facade.
It was also necessary to design a new vehicle access, a discreet garage and integrate the new plot into the entire park, all while managing to preserve very beautiful century-old oak trees.
The owners had good knowledge of plants and wanted to create an 'English-style' flower garden; it was decided that everything that was not gardened would be a wildflower meadow.
