This project responded to the wishes of a family who were building a villa in a luxury real estate complex on the Pacific coast of Panama.

In addition to the requirements of the tropical climate, it was necessary to take into account a very particular and constraining factor: the invasion of the sea for a few days, once or twice a year during high tides.

It was therefore necessary to establish an entire list of suitable plants and build a water drainage system to accelerate the ebb after high tides. The owners had very specific wishes regarding the uses and desired effects through the placement of plants.

Lots of colors, fruit trees, references to Spanish neo-colonial style, and a pool deck planted with tall palm trees... I therefore worked in concert with the architect and interior designer to achieve the desired result.
